Terms of Service
Welcome to Tuft & Craft. These terms apply to workshop bookings and purchases made through tuftncraft.shop.
Please read these terms alongside our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy before placing an order or booking.
1. About us
Tuft & Craft provides tufting workshops, creative experiences and tufting supplies from Chippendale, Sydney.

2. Orders and customer details
Please provide accurate contact, billing, delivery and booking details so we can process your purchase and contact you when needed.
Review your selected products, workshop size, participant numbers and session details before completing payment. If you notice an error afterwards, contact us promptly.
Products and workshop sessions are subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil a paid order or booking, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative or refund. We will not substitute a product or workshop without your agreement.
3. Prices and payments
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated. Your total, including applicable taxes, shipping and any selected extras, will be shown before payment.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payment must be completed according to the payment arrangements shown when you purchase.
Future price changes do not change the agreed price of an existing purchase.
4. Workshop bookings
Please check your booking confirmation for the workshop location, date, time and duration. Contact us if anything appears incorrect or you have not received confirmation.
Arrive ready to begin at your scheduled time. Late arrival may reduce the time available for your workshop, as sessions may need to finish at their scheduled time.
Workshop durations are estimates. The time needed can vary depending on your chosen design, rug size and progress.
5. Sending your design
Before your workshop, email the picture or design you would like to turn into a rug to hello@tuftncraft.com. Include your booking name and workshop date.
Simple designs with clear shapes are generally easier for beginners. We may recommend adjustments to make your design suitable for your selected frame size and session.
If a design needs significant changes, we will discuss these with you before preparing it.
6. Workshop safety and participation
Tufting involves electrical tools and other equipment. Please follow the instructor’s guidance and use equipment only as demonstrated.
Tell us before your visit if you need accessibility arrangements or assistance so we can discuss suitable options.
We may pause participation where behaviour or equipment use creates a safety risk. We will explain the concern and, where practical, help resolve it.
Nothing in these terms excludes our responsibility to provide services with appropriate care and skill.
7. Workshop cancellations and rescheduling
You may cancel for a full refund or request a different date by giving at least 24 hours’ notice before your workshop starts. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
For requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, contact us so we can review your circumstances. A refund or reschedule is not guaranteed under our voluntary cancellation policy.
If we cancel your workshop, you may choose an available alternative date or a full refund of the cancelled booking.

8. Finished workshop pieces
Your rug may need to remain at the studio for finishing and drying after your session. We will let you know when it is ready for collection.
If you would prefer delivery, contact us to arrange postage. Any delivery charge will be confirmed before you agree.
Each handmade piece is individual. Its appearance may differ from the original reference image because of yarn texture, colour and the tufting process. This does not limit your rights if our services fail to meet consumer guarantees.
9. Physical products and delivery
Product descriptions explain the relevant specifications and included items. Colours may appear slightly different across screens, but products must still match their description.
Dispatch information, delivery options and shipping charges are provided in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.
Please contact us if an order is delayed, damaged or missing so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.
10. Returns and return shipping
We offer 30-day change-of-mind returns for unused physical products in their original condition, with included accessories.
For these returns, you must arrange and pay for shipping the product back to us. Contact hello@tuftncraft.com for instructions before posting your return.
Different arrangements apply to faulty, damaged or incorrect products. Where a fault is confirmed, we cover reasonable return costs as required by law.

11. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are subject to the value, redemption conditions and any lawful expiry date disclosed when purchased.
Workshop bookings made using a voucher are subject to session availability. Contact hello@tuftncraft.com for help redeeming your voucher or arranging a booking.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that apply to gift vouchers under Australian law.
12. Designs, photographs and website content
Please ensure you have permission to use any artwork, photograph or logo you submit.
By sending us a design, you allow us to use and adapt it as needed to prepare and deliver your requested workshop or order. This does not transfer ownership of your original artwork to us.
We will seek your permission before using your submitted photographs or identifiable images of you in our marketing.
Our branding, original website content and photographs must not be reproduced commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.
13. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes information needed to process orders, manage bookings and respond to enquiries.
Please refer to that policy for details about information collection, use and your privacy choices.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Our products and services carry consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by these terms.
If a product or service does not meet those guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation, depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a remedy where doing so would be unlawful.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version presented when you place your order or booking applies to that purchase, unless we agree to a change with you or a change is required by law.
16. Questions and disputes
If something goes wrong, please contact hello@tuftncraft.com with your order or booking details and a description of the issue. We will work with you to find a fair resolution.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and applicable Australian law. This does not prevent you from exercising mandatory consumer rights or approaching a consumer protection body, tribunal or court available to you.
