What is the 50×50 classic tufting workshop?
A guided beginner rug-making class at Tuft & Craft in Chippendale, Sydney. Make one rug on a 50×50 cm frame in approximately 2–3 hours. Equipment, yarn, materials, gluing and backing are included.
What’s included in my booking?
One 50×50 cm project per person, use of a tufting gun and frame, yarn, materials, guided instruction, gluing and backing. Optional postage costs $28.
Do I need a design before booking?
No design needed to book. Email your idea to hello@tuftncraft.com before class, with your booking name and date. Simple shapes and clear colours work best for your first rug.
When can I collect my rug?
Your rug needs finishing and drying after class. Collection is usually ready around two days after gluing and backing. Postage is available for $28.
Where is the Sydney studio?
Shop 1, 49 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008, within walking distance of Central Station.
Can I change my booking?
You can change or cancel up to 24 hours before your session.
Who can join?
Suitable for ages 10 and over. Book one project for each person making their own rug. Contact us before booking if you have questions about attending with a child.
